Vitalant in Mather, CA is seeking a Hospital Distribution Technician. You'll support hospitals by receiving and processing blood product orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You'll verify and prepare orders, maintain inventory, and document transactions using internal systems. The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to work a Sunday-Thursday shift with potential on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately enter, review and maintain information in computer systems.
• Willingness to work a schedule that may include weekends and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and confirm routine and urgent blood product orders from hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Select, verify, package and distribute blood products with high accuracy and proper documentation.
• Monitor inventory, storage, rotation and tracking of blood products to meet hospital needs.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines in a regulated healthcare environment.
