Vitalant seeks a Hospital Distribution Technician to join our team in Mather, CA. You will process hospital blood orders, prepare products for scheduled procedures, and support urgent needs in a fast-paced, regulated healthcare setting.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with procedures and documentation. Shift is Tue-Sat 3:00pm-11:30pm with paid training and a 9% evening shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Driver's license with good driving record required (in all locations except PA).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately enter, review and maintain information using computer systems.
• Ability to work the schedule, including weekends/evenings/holidays/on-call depending on location.
• Lift up to 40-50 lbs to perform physical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Receive, process and confirm routine and urgent blood product orders from hospitals and healthcare facilities, providing professional customer service, order updates and timely responses to inquiries.
• Select, verify, prepare, package and distribute blood products while maintaining a high level of accuracy, ensuring patient safety and documentation.
• Monitor, receive, store, rotate and track blood product inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records and ensuring product availability to meet hospital needs.
• Use computer systems and internal software to process orders, document transactions, manage inventory and maintain compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines and temperature-control requirements within a regulated healthcare environment; maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Collaborate with drivers, couriers, hospital staff and team members to manage changing priorities and deliver blood products when applicable.
