Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated in Roanoke, VA is seeking an Account Manager to grow and manage blood drive accounts within the territory. You will work with the Donor Resources Department to maximize collections and coordinate campaigns.

Qualifications

• Outside sales or marketing experience is preferred.
• Public speaking ability to engage groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Experience with donor or nonprofit sector a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategies to recruit and manage sponsor groups to achieve territory goals.
• Establish blood drive projections in line with resources and needs.
• Develop potential sponsor leads and outreach.
• Coordinate drive planning and adhere to best practices.
• Communicate effectively with donor chairpersons and groups pre, during, and post drive.
• Support blood drive coordinators with marketing and donor management.
• Participate in community events to educate and promote blood drives.
• Build relationships with sponsor groups to grow drive success.
