The American Red Cross in Michigan is hiring Blood Collection Staff to support mobile blood drives and donor sites. You will welcome donors, assist with the blood collection process, and help ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Paid phlebotomy training is provided, no prior medical experience required. You will work a variable schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, at multiple Michigan locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Personally connect with donors, listening to their stories and explaining the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming, friendly environment for donors.
• Be detail oriented to ensure collected blood meets goals and regulatory requirements.
• Operate as part of the team to set up and tear down equipment at donation sites; may drive Red Cross vehicles.
