Job summary

Paid phlebotomy training is provided to grow healthcare skills within a major humanitarian organization. The position involves collaboration with a team, potential vehicle operation, and a dynamic schedule that includes early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver. s license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long hours; a minimum height may apply to operate vehicles.
• Basic computer skills are required; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Connect with donors to share the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure collected blood meets regulatory standards.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and set up/tear down equipment at donation sites.
