Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a Lab Supervisor to oversee laboratory divisions, ensure accurate testing, and manage quality controls in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a strong background in laboratory procedures, CLS/medical technology training, and CAP proficiency testing with accountability for documentation and regulatory compliance. On-site responsibilities support sacred work within patient care teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or chemical, physical, or biological science AND 1 year training and experience in the designated discipline or area of service; OR
• Associate degree in laboratory science or medical technology or equivalent education and training AND 2 years laboratory training or experience, or both, in the designated discipline or area of service

Responsabilidades

• Oversee overall operation of division/area and prioritize service demands with leadership input.
• Perform routine shift start-up, quality controls, and instrument maintenance.
• Notify physicians and health care team of corrected/critical results with timely documentation.
• Maintain proficiency in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in capital equipment selection and implementation of new procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date procedure manuals and ensure proficiency testing is completed and reported.
