Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Lab Supervisor – Blood Bank for our Fort Worth campus. You will lead the department, coordinate schedules, and ensure high standards of patient care and safety in a fast-paced lab environment.

This role requires a Bachelor's in a lab science, ASCP certifications, and several years in blood bank operations, with leadership experience preferred. On-site day shift with on-call as needed; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant lab science.
• Minimum 5 years under MT/Pathologist supervision.
• Leadership and Blood Bank experience preferred.
• Licenses/certifications required upon hire (ASCP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Oversees work schedules and personnel assignments for the department
• Delegates employee responsibilities as needed
• Monitors overtime usage
• Oversees laboratory procedures and competency
• Reviews quality control and documentation
• Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
