Job summary

NorDx at MaineHealth is seeking a Laboratory Quality Tech for the Blood Bank program. The role focuses on developing, monitoring and providing recommendations for overall quality in the laboratory, with oversight of competency assessment for team members.

Required credentials include licensure/certification as MLT/MT and relevant education; two years of lab experience are expected. The position may require work at other MaineHealth sites as needed, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree required for Medical Laboratory Technicians; Bachelor's degree required for Medical Technologists.
• License/Certifications: Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist (e.g., ASCP, BOR, NCA) required.
• Experience: Two years of relevant laboratory experience required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements: May be asked to work at other sites/locations as needed.
