St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Lead Medical Technologist to oversee the Blood Bank and Specimen Processing sections. The role includes scheduling, quality control, QA management, and instrument upkeep within a hospital laboratory.

You will ensure timely testing, accurate reporting, and adherence to SOPs while supporting patient care and staff development in a dynamic health system across Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.

Qualificações

• Baccalaureate Degree in Biological Science with NAACLS medical technology program and MT certification.
• Or Baccalaureate Degree in Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Microbiology with advanced degree/certification in related field.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily activities of Blood Bank and Specimen Processing.
• Schedule personnel and monitor quality control and QA compliance.
• Manage testing instrumentation troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ensure timely reporting of results and handling of critical values in LIS.
