Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, Delaware, seeks a Supervisor, Laboratory Operations (Blood Bank) to oversee daily blood bank operations and staff development. You will collaborate with medical directors and care teams to ensure high-quality, compliant service.

The role requires MLS experience, supervisory background, and CLIA qualifications with ongoing training and performance reviews. A hybrid work model may be considered to support staffing and accreditation needs.

Qualificações

• B.S. in Medical Technology or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Medical Laboratory Scientist experience.
• Certification as MLS (ASCP/AAB/AMT) eligible; must obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Laboratory Manager with daily Blood Bank operations and HR management.
• Coordinate with BB Medical Director, physicians, and staff to ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop staff, set service standards, and maintain training/competency records.
• Review antibody identification, transfusion reaction, and ABO discrepancy workups; manage corrective actions.
