Job summary

EY’s Blockchain & Digital Assets practice seeks a highly experienced Senior Manager to serve as a lead technical architect and trusted advisor for institutional clients navigating digital asset security. You will design and secure custody infrastructure, including MPC, HSMs, and air-gapped storage, while guiding C-suite decisions on trust models and long-term utility of verifiable assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, blockchain security, digital asset infra, or cryptographic research.
• Hands-on in private key lifecycles, digital asset custody, signing ceremonies and enterprise key management.
• Deep knowledge of Bitcoin/Ethereum architecture and related staking mechanisms; familiarity with other ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture for institutional digital asset custody and infrastructure security.
• Design, assess, and audit custody solutions (MPC, HSMs, air-gapped cold storage).
• Evaluate Bitcoin, Ethereum, Layer1/2 ecosystems for security and risks.
• Develop AI-driven threat models and defensive strategies for cyber risks.
• Coordinate incident response during security events and strengthen resilience.
• Translate technical risks into strategic business insights for executives.
