Job summary

Tempo is building a blockchain infrastructure for real-world payments. We’re seeking a versatile engineer to help put Tempo blockchain in the hands of real users, building Tempo Wallet and integrating Tempo into customer flows.

You’ll work with production-grade systems and money movement flows, bridging product, integration, and go-to-market efforts. This role suits someone who has founded or wants to start a company someday, offering exposure to payments and crypto problems across startups,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including 1+ year in crypto.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to travel within the US to work with partners when needed.
• Track record of shipping mission-critical systems where safety and reliability matter.
• Ability to balance speed, pragmatism, and technical quality.

Responsibilities

• Build internal and first‑party applications on top of Tempo for both agents and humans
• Partner with startups and enterprises to integrate Tempo into their payment systems
• Develop a deep understanding of the Tempo blockchain and its product surface area
• Navigate unfamiliar codebases and organizations quickly to get products shipped
• Bring field learnings back to Tempo to improve the product, developer experience, and blockchain itself
