Job summary

EY is seeking a software professional to join the Digital Asset Research Center in the US. You will research blockchains, smart contracts and digital assets while delivering Assurance services and building tools for our clients in this fast-evolving sector.

You’ll collaborate with auditors, developers and consultants across regions, work in a hybrid model, and contribute to testing, documentation and client-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain tech, smart contracts and dApps.
• Proficient with JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems (Node.js, Express, React, Angular).
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or similar protocols (Hyperledger, Solana).
• Testing with Jest, Mocha or similar frameworks.
• Database expertise in NoSQL and SQL.
• Version control with Git; container tech (Docker/Podman).
• Cloud/DevOps with Azure, AWS or GCP; Agile team experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical writing and client presentations.
• Willingness to travel and work extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with auditors to design tests for financial statement assertions related to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative client solutions.
• Stay updated on leading practices and apply new techniques.
