Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced software developer for the Digital Asset Research Center in the US. You will research public blockchains, smart contracts, and digital assets while collaborating with auditors and technology consultants to deliver assurance services related to digital assets.

You will work across front‑end and back‑end technologies, contribute to tooling, testing, and methodologies, and help clients across regions. The role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and travel when needed.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related work experience in application development.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development (Node.js, Express, React/Angular).
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or other protocols (Hyperledger, Solana).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Git or other version control systems; Docker or Podman; DevOps on Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Experience in Agile teams; strong communication and client presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours when needed.
• Access to reliable transportation to EY offices and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Full‑stack software development including front‑end and back‑end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement testing techniques for financial statements related to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and implement innovative client solutions and core products.
• Keep up‑to‑date on leading practices in this fast‑growing area and apply them where relevant.
