Job summary

Farmers Union Industries, LLC in Redwood Falls, MN is seeking a Blending Operator 2 for the Central Bi-Products facility on the 3rd shift. You will unload materials, operate forklifts, and clean equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food/feed production preferred
• Pass forklift certification on hire
• Proficient in basic math and reading data trends
• Ability to communicate effectively with external truck drivers (written and verbal)
• Able to read signs, labels, warnings and operator manuals
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Work in a multi-species facility (cows, pigs, poultry)
• Willing to work extra hours as needed; must be 18+ years old for insurance

Responsibilities

• Unload raw materials from open top, rendispose, reefer, box, tank and other trailers
• Operate skid-steer or forklift to move materials from trailers
• Use pressure washer and brush to clean trailers and equipment
• Inspect trailers and notify maintenance if repairs are needed
• Complete paperwork for each unloaded trailer
• Communicate trailer load information to production to prevent errors
• Report concerns, downtime, or cost savings to Foreman
• Follow safety policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain clean work area and regular on-site attendance
• May be asked to work extra hours or take on additional tasks
