Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a Lead Blender to train and guide Blenders, ensure products are blended per specifications, and uphold GMP and safety standards. The role focuses on safe, efficient production and maintaining high quality through precise documentation and collaboration with QA and Maintenance teams.

You will oversee training, changeovers, and equipment readiness, while ensuring daily production goals are met with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Comprehend basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, weights and measures, calculator.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to assemble, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Uphold, teach, and enforce SOPs and GMPs related to production operations.
• Train blending staff on processing, changeovers, clean-up, and sanitation per SOPs.
• Ensure batches are blended accurately according to instructions.
• Coordinate onboarding and training for new blending team members.
• Develop and maintain a training program for blending operators.
• Monitor and record critical processing parameters (time, temp, pressure, volume).
• Collaborate with QA on tanker and batch analysis and allergen swabbing.
• Maintain blending equipment and wastewater system with Maintenance.
• Review documentation daily for accuracy and completeness.

This role oversees the blending of products in accordance with individual work order specifications, while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
