Job summary

SIMONA Boltaron in Ohio is seeking a Blend System Operator for the Plastic Compound line on the afternoon shift (3pm-11pm). You will follow production orders, weigh and mix batches, operate blending equipment, and stage batches for the line.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, experience with hand tools and measuring devices, forklift experience, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow production work orders/recipes to mix raw material batches for production

• Stage all batches to be used on the production line
• Complete daily inventory to verify inventory
• Clean all containers, equipment and working area to prevent contamination

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to heat, moving mechanical parts, and possible fumes.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must stand 8-12 hours per day and is occasionally required to bend, squat, climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull or move up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift. Additional hours during the week or on weekends may be required according to production demands. This utility role may require covering afternoon or midnight shifts on a temporary basis if/when necessary. and with the associated shift differentials when applicable.

No travel is expected for this position.
