Job summary

Mayfield Dairy Farms, LLC is seeking a Blend Operator for the Mix Processing department to learn and perform all related tasks, including mix preparation, CIP cleaning, flavoring, receiving and pasteurization equipment operation. The role requires adherence to SOPs, GMP and safety guidelines in a fast-paced dairy production environment.

The operator will train on all shifts and may act as a relief operator, with responsibilities across the production team.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills and be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch for virtually the entire shift.
• Experience operating a forklift is a plus.
• Dairy/food science background preferred but not required depending on candidate profile.

Responsibilities

• Review Master Batch Records for accuracy and proper ingredient relocation.
• Monitor blending equipment and control valves, pumps, speeds and temperatures.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sanitizing and equipment maintenance.
• Document information per SOPs and communicate issues to supervision.
• Assist in continuous improvement opportunities to optimize processes.
