Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Technical Representative to provide project management for our blasting services across the LLC/Region. You will provide technical expertise, support, and training to LLC/Regional personnel and customers to promote our products, services, technologies and blasting techniques.

The role aims to drive safe, consistent, and profitable blasting results, reporting to the LLC/Region Technical Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years as a certified blaster preferred.
• Willingness to obtain Austin Powder Blasting Certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced blasting technical assistance including mine planning, blast design, surveying, post-blast analysis, and optimization.
• Establish collaborative relationships with blasting teams and customers.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and QA across sites.
• Travel to customer sites up to 50% - 70% within the LLC/Region.
• Develop and communicate blast plans tailored to each customer.
• Conduct risk assessments and support incident investigations.
• Support sales as a subject matter expert on products and capabilities.
