Job summary

Pritchard Industries LLC is seeking a Custodian for the Bound Brook school district in New Jersey. The role involves cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring sanitary facilities. The shift runs 2:30pm–11:00pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, at a pay rate of $20 per hour.

The ideal candidate maintains a professional appearance, can lift up to 50 pounds, operates an auto scrubber, and may assist with event setups. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience is a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Be able to use the auto scrubber machine.
• Be able set up for events.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms.
• Ensure building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.
• Assist with events setup and related cleaning tasks.

We are seeking to hire aCustodian. You will be responsible for performing building maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible. The position is at the Bound Brook school district

Job Requirements

Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

• must hold a black seal license

Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
