Pritchard Industries is seeking a reliable Custodian to join our facilities team in South Plainfield, NJ. The role focuses on cleaning and basic maintenance to keep offices and common areas safe and sanitary. You will operate cleaning equipment, follow instructions, and support event setups as needed.
The position offers 20 hours per week, with a late afternoon schedule (4:00pm–8:00pm) at $20.00 per hour. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; we encourage growth and value dependable team

We are seeking to hire aCustodian. You will be responsible for performing building maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.
Job Requirements
Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Janitor experience is a plus but will train
Reliable Transportation
Be able to use the auto scrubber machine
Be able set up for events
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Hours: 20hrs/week, 4:00pm - 8:00pm, Monday - Friday
