Job summary

Pritchard Industries is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain our facilities at the Bound Brook school district. You will vacuum, mop, sweep, clean restrooms and break rooms, remove trash, and perform routine maintenance to keep the building healthy, safe, and sanitary.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to lift 50 pounds, and willing to learn; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Full-time, 40 hours per week, 2:30pm–11:00pm, pay $20 per hour with benefits including life insurance

Qualifications

• Must follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks effectively.
• Black seal license required.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience is a plus but training is provided.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to operate an auto scrubber.
• Must be able to set up for events.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Sweeping, dusting, and trash removal throughout the facility.
• Cleaning restrooms and break rooms; restocking supplies as needed.
• Monitor health and safety conditions; report issues promptly.
• Assist with event setup and facility maintenance tasks.
