Job summary

Pritchard Industries is seeking a dependable Custodian in Point Pleasant, NJ. The role involves routine building maintenance, cleaning, and event setup to keep facilities safe and sanitary.

You will work 40 hours weekly, with a 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm schedule and alternating Saturday shifts, and you may participate in a benefit package including life insurance, disability, and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Be able to use the auto scrubber machine.
• Be able set up for events.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking to hire aCustodian. You will be responsible for performing building maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning restrooms and break rooms, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude & appearance and be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

Prior cleaning experience is a plus.

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Janitor experience is a plus but will train

Reliable Transportation

Be able to use the auto scrubber machine

Be able set up for events

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

• Be willing to obtain a Black Seal within a year of employment

Full-time

Hours, 40 hrs/week, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday-Friday with an alternating Saturday shift 7:00am - 3:30pm
