Job summary

Xavier University of Louisiana invites applications for the Coordinator for Black Male Engagement (CBME). The CBME will build and sustain relationships with campus stakeholders, community partners, alumni, and national networks to support Black and Brown male students.

The role serves as the primary liaison to programs such as Men of Xavier, athletics, NPHC fraternities, and national initiatives similar to 100 Black Men of America, Son of a Saint, and Kingmakers of Oakland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–5 years of progressive student development experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to advise student orgs, plan events, and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain relationships with campus stakeholders and external partners.
• Design mentorship, leadership development, academic support, and civic engagement opportunities for Black male students.
• Collaborate across campus and with offices to advance retention and success initiatives.
