Job summary

Alyeska Resort is seeking a Black Diamond Club Manager in Girdwood, Alaska, to lead our elevated Black Diamond Club experience and oversee guest journeys across pre-arrival to departure.

You will manage a luxury club floor, coordinate cross-department operations, and mentor the Black Diamond Club team to exceed guest expectations in a high-volume resort setting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hotel luxury guest operations experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven hospitality experience in a high-volume luxury resort environment is highly desirable.
• Exceptional guest service skills with strong attention to detail and ability to build relationships with guests, employees, vendors, and resort partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English; additional languages celebrated.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Black Diamond Club Floor operations and maintain visible presence.
• Own the guest journey from pre-arrival planning through departure; coordinate pre/post stay communications.
• Deliver an upscale, personalized arrival experience including suite inspections, orientations, and amenities.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, Engineering, Culinary, and resort partners to ensure seamless service.
• Lead, train, and develop the Black Diamond Club team; ensure SOPs are followed and teamwork is fostered.
• Oversee service for high-profile groups and VIP guests; collaborate with internal teams and vendors.

As the Black Diamond Club Manager,you’llown the complete guest journey for our Black Diamond Club guests—from pre-arrival planning and personalized suite preparationtodeparture.You’lllead the daily operation of the Club Floor while partnering across the resort to deliver luxury on the threshold of adventure.

• Lead daily Black Diamond Club Floor operations,maintaina visible presence, and step into operational roles when needed.
• Own the guest journey from pre-arrival planning through departure,maintainingthoughtful communication before, during, and after each stay.
• Deliver an upscale, personalized arrival experience, including suite inspections, check-ins, orientations, amenities, and special requests.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, Engineering, Culinary, and resort partners to ensure seamless service and maximize guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, and develop the Black Diamond Club team while ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and fostering trust, respect, and teamwork.
• Oversee service for high-profile groups and Very Important Person (VIP) guests, collaborating with internal teams and outside vendors toanticipateand fulfill requests.

What We Need

• At least 2 years of hotel, luxury hospitality, or comparable full-service guest operations experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven hospitality experience in a high-volume, fast-paced luxury resort environment is highly desirable.
• Exceptional guest service skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to build relationships with guests, employees, vendors, and resort partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills andproficiencyin English;additionallanguages are celebrated.
• High school diploma, general education degree, or international equivalentrequired.
• Operational knowledge of property management and guest relations systems such as Opera, RTP,Maitre’d,HotSOS/Rex, Alice, andRezDiary.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Alaska andmaintainrequired Training for Alcohol Professionals (TAPS) certification and Food Worker Card.

• Work a flexible schedule that may include extended hours, nights, weekends, and peak business periods.
• Balance hands-on floor leadership with planning, guest communication, financial oversight, and cross-department coordination.
• Physical demands: Ability tolift upto 25 pounds, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull equipment, and stand for extended periods of time.
