Job summary

Circle Brands in Yoakum, TX is seeking a Bit Fabricator to weld and machine components for the Bits department, following work orders and specifications to ensure quality and production flow. You will set up and operate manual and CNC equipment, including drills, grinders and lathes, track time and materials, perform inspections, and prepare tooling to keep equipment ready.

The role requires reading blueprints, maintaining tolerances, basic shop math, and strict adherence to PPE and safety

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and work orders.
• Maintain part tolerances during welding and machining.
• Basic machining operations experience.
• Understand shop math and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Weld and tack components per supervisor instructions and product specs.
• Set up and operate manual/CNC equipment such as drills, grinders, and lathes.
• Track time and materials used on each job.
• Prepare tooling and samples, and ensure equipment readiness.
• Perform first-piece and final inspections to QC standards.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and appearance.
• Use jigs, fixtures, and measurement tools to meet specs.
• Keep welding and machining areas clean and organized.
• Report material issues or unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• All other duties assigned by management.
