Job summary

Wastequip is seeking a Fabricator for our Tyler, TX manufacturing operation. This full-time role on 1st shift (6 AM - 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri) offers competitive benefits including Health Insurance, 401K, and paid leave. You will fabricate steel parts using various machines, read blueprints, and ensure dimensional accuracy.

Pay rate is $18.14 per hour. The ideal candidate has experience operating a Press Brake and/or Shear, basic CNC understanding, and solid math/measurement skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating a Press Brake and/or Shear.
• Set up experience a plus.
• Understanding of basic CNC controls.
• 1+ years prior production experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and measuring tape.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate steel and other metal parts as indicated by the work order and blueprints.
• Operate a Press Brake and/or Shear to cut metal.
• Turn handwheels to adjust rake and pressure of blade; clamp guides to set length and angle.
• Position and clamp workpieces, lift as needed, and align for cutting.
• Inspect finished items to verify dimensions.
