Courtyard New Haven at Yale is seeking a TEAM Morning Bistro Attendant to welcome guests at breakfast, set up the bistro, and maintain a clean, inviting dining area.
You will greet guests with a smile, replenish stations, assist with food service, and uphold health and safety standards in a fast-paced hotel environment. English fluency and a friendly demeanor are essential.

Welcome and greet hotel guests in a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic manner
Set up and prepare the bistro and breakfast area prior to opening
Prepare, replenish, and maintain breakfast food and beverage stations throughout the morning
Ensure food and beverage displays are attractive, well-stocked, and presented according to hotel standards
Monitor food levels and communicate replenishment or supply needs to management
Provide guests with information about available food and beverage offerings
Assist guests with questions, requests, and special needs in a courteous and timely manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, counters, serving areas, and the overall bistro throughout service
Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a clean and welcoming dining environment
Follow proper food handling, storage, temperature control, and sanitation procedures
Monitor buffet and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Restock condiments, utensils, napkins, beverages, and other bistro supplies as needed
Assist with basic food preparation as directed
Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to hotel uniform and grooming standards
Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning and organizing the bistro and service areas
Communicate guest feedback, maintenance concerns, and operational needs to the appropriate manager
Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage and hotel teams to provide an exceptional guest experience
Act with the highest level of integrity in every decision
Previous food service, hospitality, hotel, or customer service experience is ideal, but we are willing to train the right person
Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with guests and colleagues
Ability to work independently while contributing to a TEAM-oriented environment
Ability to safely handle food and follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, organized work environment
Ability to multitask and stay calm and professional during busy breakfast periods
Excellent English communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform routine lifting, carrying, and stocking duties
Ability to work an early morning schedule, including weekends and holidays
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing a positive guest experience
$18.00 per hour + tips
