Courtyard Marriott Downtown El Paso is seeking a dedicated Cook I to join our Bistro team. You will prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, portion standards, and safety requirements, helping ensure every meal is fresh and properly presented.

You should have prior cooking experience or culinary education; strong food-safety knowledge; the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment; and a reliable, team-oriented work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking or food-service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and hotel standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared consistently, safely, and with quality.
• Follow proper portion sizes, plating standards, and temperatures.
• Maintain clean and organized workstation throughout shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
