Job summary

Courtyard Concord in Concord, NC seeks a full-time Bistro Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals for a fast-casual hotel cafe. Shifts run 5:00am-11:00am or 4:30pm-11:00pm, with weekday and weekend availability required.

Salary range is $17.00–$18.00 hourly, with Daily pay options after each shift. Prior cook experience and a solid understanding of kitchen safety are essential. High school diploma preferred; culinary training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cook.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent is desirable; culinary school training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare cold foods and serve portions.
• Operate ovens, stoves, fryers, and related equipment.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and tools.
• Ensure correct temperatures of appliances and foods.
• Keep workstations stocked, neat and orderly.
