Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and courteous under pressure.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Team player who can support other departments.
• Eligible to serve alcohol per state law.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously, delivering attentive service throughout the dining experience.
• Take accurate orders and accommodate guest requests and special needs.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and offerings.
• Answer questions and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Suggestively upsell restaurant, lounge, and beverage items.
• Process checks and payments with accurate cash handling.
• Verify guest checks and payment methods to protect guest and hotel.
• Complete opening/closing side work, restocking and prep of service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service spaces.
• Follow health, sanitation, food safety, and hotel standards.
• Respond to guest questions and concerns professionally and urgently.
• Attend pre-shift and departmental meetings to stay informed.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
• Provide room service support as needed.
• Assist other Food & Beverage associates and departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
