Overview

The Restaurant Server will take food and beverage orders, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and assist in maintaining the restaurant area and equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
• Process payments from customers.
• Take and transmit food and beverage orders.
• Prepare checks and handle transactions.
• Check IDs for alcohol service.
• Serve food and beverages, including specialty dishes.
• Present menus and recommend items.
• Clean tables and dining areas.
• Prepare drinks and chill wine bottles.
• Set up and reset dining stations.
• Inform customers about specials.
• Stock supplies and explain menu items.
• Set tables and clear dishes.
• Assist with reservations and guest greetings.
• Perform cleaning duties.
• Assist with wine service and food prep.
• Garnish dishes and provide local area information.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Good English language skills and guest relations training.
• Certification in liquor, wine, and food service preferred.
• Must be TIPS, CARE (or equivalent) certified by first day.
• Ability to use property management and POS systems.
