Overview
The Outlet Server is responsible for providing high-quality service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include receiving and delivering guest orders and collecting payments.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Flexible and long hours may be required.
- Medium work—exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food and beverages.

Duties & Functions
Fundamental Requirements:
- Always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with restaurant, lounge, and room service organization and functions.
- Thorough knowledge of menus and specials.
- Serve guests attentively and courteously.
- Pre-bus tables, removing soiled dishes after each course.
- Operate the POS system proficiently.
- Perform cashiering duties, including closing checks and preparing end-of-shift paperwork.
- Follow opening and closing procedures and complete side-work tasks.
- Keep tables and side stands stocked, tidy, and clean.
- Maintain beverage levels at least ¾ full.
- Break down trays of soiled dishes and linens per standards.
- Answer phone calls professionally.
- Upsell food, beverage, and promotional items.
- Know the location and proper use of fire extinguishers.
- Deliver food and beverage orders and collect payments.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
