Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all Bisquick production equipment including baggers, case packers, and cartoners.

• Conduct quality checks such as HACCP, seal tests, weight tests, code dating, metal detector, check weigher, magnets, and code dater checks.
• Maintain written documentation and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training new employees.

Equipment includes baggers, case packers, and cartoners.* Perform preventive and reactive maintenance activities within capabilities on Bisquick production equipment and assist maintenance as needed with higher-level tasks, including work order creation and defect identification.* Perform all necessary quality checks of the products produced in the Bisquick department, including HACCP checks, seal tests, weight tests, code dating, metal detector, check weigher, in-line magnets, and code dater checks.* Maintain written documentation.* Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance.* Assist in training new employees **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*** High school diploma or GED* At least 2 years of machine operating experience* Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs* Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods* Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions* Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms* Ability to perform confined space entry in accordance with required safety procedures and training* Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards* Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment – PPE), such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)* Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*** At least 2 years of mechanical and/or technical experience in manufacturing or related industry* At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment
