Trinity Health Livonia Campus is seeking a Unit Clerk in the Birthing Center. You will support the nursing team and care for patients, using Powerchart for order entry and serving as a key resource in the unit.

Shifts available are 7:00 am–7:00 pm and 7:00 pm–7:00 am on a rotating schedule; status is Contingent/PRN with some weekend and holiday requirements. The role includes answering phones, assembling admission charts, coordinating outpatient appointments, and processing orders, with a

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Aufgaben

• Answers telephones and relays messages, making calls as necessary.
• Assembles charts for admission, transfer and discharges, post charges.
• Sets up appointments for special procedures with appropriate departments, including outpatient appointments.
• Demonstrates ability to utilize order entry, order modification, D/C and cancel orders as directed.
