The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and operational excellence to deliver value to customers and the business. The Store Manager will manage promotions, ensure product availability, and maintain strong community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 to 10 years of retail management experience.
• Interest in the backyard bird feeding hobby or nature.
• Must be skilled in leadership, coaching, and training, sales generation, strategic planning, customer service, communication, conflict resolution, business acumen, time management, and general retail software proficiency.
• Must be able to provide feedback, develop others, embrace and lead change, and make clear and defined decisions.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to act with integrity and professionalism to ensure that all business is conducted without bias or prejudice.

Responsibilities

• Profitably manage day-to-day store operations following best practices.
• Direct and coach store associates to deliver a high-energy customer experience.
• Oversee staffing, inventory management, ordering, and process improvements.
• Achieve sales goals while controlling expenses and optimizing store performance.
• Plan and direct the customer experience, product availability, and safe shipping/handling.
