Job summary

GenScript Biotech Corp. in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive and support Mid-Atlantic territory sales of GenScript products and services. The role emphasizes customer relationships, field visits, and achieving defined sales goals.

The base salary range is $80,000 - $100,000, dependent on experience. Ideal candidates reside in Philadelphia, PA, with 1–5 years of relevant sales and biotech expertise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in life sciences or Bachelor’s with at least 2 years of lab experience.
• Relevant sales experience (1–5 years) with technical acumen.
• Knowledge of Biotech CRO/CDMO markets; emphasis on gene synthesis, protein, peptides, bioassays, antibodies, cell lines.
• Ability to operate in an international business environment.
• Ability to forecast sales weekly in territory.
• Team player with strong analytical and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement territory sales strategies with Global Commercial Head.
• Match GenScript services to customers’ research needs and applications.
• Share market knowledge with Sales, TAM and Marketing through weekly reports.
• Introduce GenScript to new markets: Industrial, Academic, Governmental.
• Collaborate with TAM and FAS to drive business expansion.
• Build and expand a reference network to grow opportunities.
