Job summary

GenScript is seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive and support sales in the Mid-Atlantic territory, with a focus on Philadelphia, PA. You will apply scientific knowledge to align GenScript products with customer research needs and build strong field relationships.

The role requires a Master’s or higher in life sciences (or a Bachelor’s with lab experience) and 1–5 years of sales experience; base salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, with compensation tied to experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in life sciences; or Bachelor’s with at least 2 years of lab experience.
• Relevant sales experience 1–5 years with technical/professional expertise.
• Knowledge of Biotech/Bio industry; emphasis on Gene Synthesis, Protein, Peptide, Bioassays, Antibody, Cell Line products/services preferred.
• Ability to operate in an international business environment.
• Ability to forecast sales within the territory weekly.

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop an assigned sales territory with Global Commercial Head.
• Collaborate with TAM and MKT teams to meet sales objectives.
• Understand customer research applications and align GenScript services/products.
• Share market knowledge with Sales, TAM and Marketing teams.
• Introduce GenScript to new markets – Industrial/Academic/Governmental.
• Drive business expansion with technical support and FAS teams.
• Build and expand a business reference network.
