Job summary

Madison Davis is partnering with a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company to appoint a Senior Director of Revenue & Cost Accounting. This role leads revenue recognition, gross-to-net, inventory, and cost accounting across divisions, reporting to the VP, Corporate Controller, and guiding a skilled accounting team through monthly closes.

You will collaborate with Commercial, Manufacturing, FP&A, and senior leadership to improve processes, automate systems, ensure SOX 404 compliance, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience required.
• Strong experience in revenue recognition, gross-to-net, and inventory/cost accounting.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls in a public company.
• Experience leading teams and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
• CPA and Big 4 public accounting experience are highly preferred.
• NetSuite experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end revenue accounting and monthly close per U.S. GAAP.
• Manage gross-to-net accounting, discounts, pricing, and rebates.
• Oversee AR reconciliations, revenue reporting, and SEC reporting support.
• Oversee government pricing calculations and compliance (AMP/NFAMP/PHS).
• Lead inventory accounting, manufacturing accruals, and COGS analysis.
• Mentor and develop accounting team; strengthen controls and processes.
• Support audits and complex technical accounting matters.
• Collaborate with executives on strategic initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
