Job summary

Dyne Therapeutics is seeking a Director, Revenue Accounting to lead the company's revenue recognition function under ASC 606 for commercial product sales, including GTN estimation and related reporting. This role partners with Commercial, FP&A, and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely, and well-controlled revenue accounting as the company scales.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of biotech/pharma revenue accounting, a CPA, and hands-on experience with gross-to-net estimates, SOX

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, biotech/pharma revenue accounting preferred.
• Big 4 public accounting background strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with gross-to-net accounting in a specialty pharma setting.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to pharmaceutical product sales.
• Experience designing and operating 404B SOX-compliant controls.
• Experience with distributors, specialty pharmacies, and/or GPOs and channel data.
• Experience with rebate/contract management systems and ERP (NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition for product sales under ASC 606.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close process; manage journal entries and reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain GTN estimation models (rebates, chargebacks, etc.).
• Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls over revenue processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Commercial Operations, and Audit teams for reporting.
• Evaluate and implement systems/tools to automate revenue and GTN accounting.
