Job summary

Tempus in Chicago is seeking a Program Manager to lead the development and launch of new assays and initiatives within the Product Development Organization. You will manage detailed project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure deliverables align with timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3+ years of project management experience in biotech/clinical settings, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with tools like Smartsheets, MS Project,

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree, preferably in a scientific, clinical, technical or business discipline.
• Minimum 3 years project management experience with formal methodologies.
• Experience in Biotechnology, Clinical Laboratory, or Medical Device industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using approved tools throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan structured, collaborative project meetings with Core Team to capture scope, requirements, risks, and timelines.
• Identify resource requirements and track progress against the project plan.
• Manage deliverables to timeline and escalate risks or tradeoffs to drive decisions.
• Prepare status reports and dashboards for stakeholders on risks, issues, decisions, and progress.
• Document requirements, risks, and decisions and capture lessons learned.
• Perform impact analysis on change requests affecting scope, resources, or timelines.
