Job summary

Tempus AI is seeking a Program Manager to lead the development and launch of new assays and initiatives within the Product Development Organization.

You will drive detailed project plans and collaborate with the Core Team and Sponsor to ensure timely delivery, manage risks, and report progress. A 4-year degree and 3+ years of PM experience in biotech/clinical settings are required, with PM tools proficiency and regulatory familiarity. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in a scientific, clinical, technical or business discipline
• 3+ years project management experience with formal methodologies
• Experience in Biotechnology, Clinical Laboratory, or Medical Device industries
• Project management certification preferred (PMP)
• Proficient in project management software such as Smartsheets, MS Project, Coda, JIRA
• Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, GMP, NYSDOH and FDA regulations
• Exceptional leadership, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver projects on time

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans across the project lifecycle
• Plan and run structured project meetings to gather scope, requirements, risks, and timelines
• Identify resource requirements with Core Team Lead
• Ensure deliverables align with timelines and budgets
• Escalate tradeoffs between budget, resources, and schedule when needed
• Create project status reports and dashboards for stakeholders
• Document requirements, risks, issues, decisions, and lessons learned
• Analyze impact of change requests on scope and resources
• Verify completion of outputs and deliverables
• Incorporate lessons learned into future planning and execution
