Job summary

ZETA in King of Prussia is seeking a full-time engineer with a Bachelor's degree in engineering. The role supports biotech/pharma projects, working in a hybrid model with three onsite days per week and travel as needed.

You will assist in preparing process documentation, support equipment design, and help develop URS/functional specs under supervision. 0–5 years in biotech/pharma and GMP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline required.
• 0–5 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry preferred (internships/co-ops accepted).
• Understanding of GMP requirements and biopharmaceutical process systems, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, mass/energy balances).
• Support senior engineers in specifying and designing process equipment (vessels, mixing systems, filtration skids).
• Contribute to URS and Functional Specifications under supervision.
• Participate in start-up and commissioning activities (FAT/SAT).
• Provide preliminary troubleshooting and technical support.
• Collaborate with automation, mechanical, and project management teams on integrated engineering efforts.
• Assist CIP/SIP strategy development, data collection, testing support, and documentation.
