Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering services/manufacturing in biopharma preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand client process needs and design GMP-compliant equipment and systems.
• Work on biopharmaceutical projects including manufacturing processes and support systems.
• Prepare scopes and hourly estimates for client proposals.
• Develop process design plans and resource requirements.
• Delegate tasks and provide quality checks to staff.
• Communicate design requirements to clients and gather data to define needs.
• Develop calculations or simulations to support design.
• Assist with business development and writing proposals.
• Create process automation concepts and determine instrumentation needs.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to meet process requirements and interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with FDA and ISPE guidance.
