ZETA USA Inc. in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer to lead automation projects for biotech and pharmaceutical clients, overseeing design through commissioning in GMP environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
• 7–12 years of automation/controls engineering experience in biotech/pharma/medical device manufacturing
• Experience with Rockwell Automation (PLC, SCADA, FactoryTalk)
• Experience with DeltaV or ability to learn quickly
• Deep understanding of S88 batch concepts and process automation fundamentals
• Mandatory GMP experience including qualification protocols
• Experience with databases (SQL Server), industrial networks/OT, and plant-floor interfaces
• Familiarity with bioreactors, filtration skids, CIP/SIP systems, and hygienic utilities
• Ability to work independently, manage client expectations, and lead technical decision-making
• Willingness to travel and be on-site in King of Prussia at least 3 days per week

Your tasks

This is a senior‑level role for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑moving environment and enjoys implementing solutions on real equipment. You’ll lead automation projects for major biotech and pharmaceutical clients, working across brownfield integrations (about 70% of our work) and greenfield builds. You’ll own everything from design through commissioning, and you’ll be the person our clients trust when they need a system to work reliably in a GMP environment.

What You’ll Do

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 7–12 years of experience in automation/controls engineering within biotech, pharma, or medical device manufacturing.
• Strong experience with Rockwell Automation (PLC, SCADA, FactoryTalk).
• Experience with DeltaV or the ability to learn it quickly.
• Deep understanding of S88 batch concepts and process automation fundamentals.
• Mandatory GMP experience, including writing and executing qualification protocols.
