Job summary

Output Biosciences, a biotech startup, seeks a Business Development professional to map pharma and AI partnership opportunities and build a scalable BD process. You will translate Output's capabilities into compelling partner narratives and manage the pipeline from outreach to agreements.

You will work closely with founders and the science team to advance strategic collaborations, maintain a broad network, and adapt to shifting priorities in a stealth startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in biotech/pharma business development or related commercial role.
• Understanding of drug discovery landscape and how deals are structured.
• Ability to translate scientific capabilities into partner-ready materials.
• Strong written communication for scientific and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Map the partner landscape in drug discovery and across AI/tech ecosystems.
• Build and maintain target lists, account plans, and a prioritized pipeline.
• Prepare partner-ready materials tailored to each organization.
• Represent Output at partnering conferences and events.
• Coordinate between science/engineering teams and potential partners.
