Job summary

Kite Pharma is seeking a Technical Trainer to lead the development and delivery of manufacturing training programs at the Frederick, Maryland site. You will author training materials, coordinate curricula, and ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP standards.

You will deliver instructor-led and on-the-job training, create hands-on simulations, and manage training records in the LMS. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and regular performance metrics reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 0 years.
• Experience in manufacturing, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical environments.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements and their application in pharma manufacturing.
• Experience as a training coordinator, technical trainer, or technical writer in a cGMP setting.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
• Experience using an LMS to manage training assignments and records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training and procedural documentation using SOPs and SME input.
• Deliver instructor-led and on-the-job training with demonstrations and practice sessions.
• Create curricula and maintain employee qualifications and training materials.
• Coordinate training facilitation and qualification activities.
• Schedule trainers, rooms, resources, and required training (GMP, HR, EHS).
• Maintain LMS records and training assignments; track completion.
• Align SOPs with training materials across formats (ILT, CBT, OJT).
• Provide monthly manufacturing training metrics and management updates.
