Job summary

Kite Pharma, Inc. is seeking a Facilities/Engineering Maintenance Professional to install, maintain, and repair process manufacturing equipment in a GMP biotech environment. You will monitor EMS/BMS systems, troubleshoot faults, and ensure compliance with GDP and safety standards.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical acumen, ability to read diagrams, and experience with HVAC, purified water, and facilities utilities. Prior certification and multi-shift work are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5+ years of maintenance experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company with direct experience with GMP facility operation.
• AAS degree with at least 4 years of maintenance experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company with direct experience with GMP facility operation preferred.
• Exposure to operations involving engineering disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Process, Civil, Structural, Environmental, and Industrial.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull 75 lb. of equipment or supplies.
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, climb, and/or reach for 75% of a shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of process manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain a safe work environment following GMPs and safety SOPs.
• Create or revise standard operating procedures and maintenance plans.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure cGMP compliance using GDP.
