Job summary
Fate Therapeutics is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide Tier I and II support across our corporate and laboratory environments at the San Diego headquarters. You will troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues and partner with teams to keep our technology running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with excellent communication and teamwork, comfortable in a fast-paced biotech setting, and committed to delivering exceptional IT support to a diverse user
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of IT support in a professional setting.
- Experience in biotech/pharma or life sciences is preferred.
- Familiarity with regulated environments and documentation practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier I and II IT support across corporate and lab environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, apps, networking, peripherals, and access issues.
- Be primary contact for daily IT support requests with customer focus.
- Manage IT tickets with complete documentation and follow-up actions.
- Provision, image, deploy, and refresh Windows workstations and devices.
- Support Microsoft 365 and other critical SaaS applications.
- Assist with user provisioning, access changes, passwords, and authentication.
- Follow procedures for IT in regulated environments and change control.
- Assist with IT asset management, guides, and training materials.
- Identify recurring issues and propose IT improvements.
