Velocity Clinical Research is seeking a Client Development Manager, Biotech to drive new business growth within mid-size and emerging biotech segments. This outbound-intensive, account-focused role requires building relationships with biotech decision-makers and converting them into commercial opportunities.

Based in Durham, NC, you will own your pipeline, engage with clinical, R&D, and business leaders, and collaborate with senior teams to win new biotech programs for Velocity’s site network

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in business development, sales, or account management.
• 2+ years of leadership and people-management experience.
• Proven success building client relationships and sales pipelines.
• CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Responsabilités

• Identify and engage mid-size and emerging biotech companies as new clients.
• Build a high-volume outbound pipeline: calls, emails, LinkedIn, events.
• Develop consultative relationships with clinical and business leaders.
• Communicate Velocity’s value proposition to a scientific audience.
• Qualify opportunities and advance them with BD and Feasibility teams.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the CRM.
• Represent Velocity at industry conferences and webinars as needed.
• Refine outreach strategy based on market feedback and trends.
